Linux is a community-driven effort with the spirit of free software at its heart. This is the same spirit that drives Centurion Linux in its efforts to give back whatever little it can to the Linux community. Therefore, Centurion Linux is actively involved with all the communities it serves. To this end, CL has initiated, co-ordinated and maintained a host of top Linux open source projects in association with the leading software organisations around the globe.

GNOME:

The official GNOME-I18N team for India (Hindi)
This project involves handling rendering of Hindi fonts as well as translations for all latest releases of GNOME applications. More information may be found at:

Linux Resource Center:

Centurion Linux is working in association with a leading technology firm in India to build a Linux resource centre that aims at being a complete Linux resource for enterprises as well as home users. We would gladly accept contributions to this project in the following areas:

These articles will focus on enhancing one's Linux experience. Miscellaneous tips, tricks, troubleshooting and tweaks apart from articles on how to use popular Linux applications will fall under this section.

• Linux issues:

These articles should be focussing on issues concerning the Linux world today; general issues, licensing issues, classical free software/proprietary issues and migration/comparison issues fall under this category.
